The Lambir Hills National Park was gazetted and published to public on 15 May 1975. Located along the Miri-Bintulu Road, some 30km south of Miri Town. The park covers an area of about 6,952 hectares which consists of the central portion of the Lambir Hills, a rugged east-west trending sandstone escarpment with a maximum height of 465 metres.

There are a series of waterfalls in the park. Less than 1km from the Park Office following the waterfall are called first, second and Latak waterfall. Other accessible falls are the Pantu and Nibong Waterfall along the pantu Trail and the Pancur, Tengkorong and Dinding Waterfall along the Bakam Trail.

The trail system in the park are clearly marked with different colours. The four primary trails, are Main, Pantu, Lepoh-Ridan and Bakam. The seven secondary trails are Latak, Nibong, Bukit Pantu, Pantu Waterfall, summit, Tengkorong and Pancur. Dinding Trail is the only tertiary trail in the Park. Trails are constructed for visitors to explore the forests, hills, valleys and waterfalls. No guide is required to visit all the tourist spots, you won't get lost if you just stick to the designated trails. However, the Summit Trail which leads to the Lambir's Summit, does require a guide and is excellent for adventurous hikers.

The clift is 90 degree straight.

Go further in, will be Latak 2nd Fall.

There's a warning line between the pool, nobody is allowed to swim cross the line.
